2025 Mopar Spring Fling at Willow?

Got my reservation for the Airtel on Friday. Depending on what I need to do, I'll get up BFE in the a/m and either head straight down to catch the homies at the cruise or do a side trip to Bakersfield, then come down. The Saturday before, 26th, is the NSRA West shown in Bakersfield which I plan...

Wildfire Trolley Jack (or any four post lift jack) experience?

I added the rolling jack unit to the order when I got my BP 4 post some years ago. One thing I did on my own, as their's was quite pricey, was to make a couple of crossbeams for support. I found some 4X5 3/16" wall rectangle material. Notched one corner on each end so that the beam would be...

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

I got most of the welding done on the patch piece today. Started off with the spot welder, an old Miller unit. From there used the Lincoln MIG unit. Tomorrow I'll finish the welding then get some coating spritzed in/on.

Firm Feel vs PST Torsion Bars

And part of that equates to what your daily driver is and what you're used to on ride stiffness/quality. For me, I've had 20 years of daily driving an 04 Dodge Cummins 2X Quad Cab Dually. Has a rack and pinion for steering. So I'm used to a very firm ride and stiff feel on the steering. Its what...

    OMW to Phoenix AZ

If you are a railway buff, out of Williams they run a train to the canyon and back. My wife and I did that excursion with her dad plus stepmom. It was awesome. Rode in the lounge car, hanging out on the back porch, there and back. Beautiful scenery.

Torsion Bar Adjustment Bolts Question (69 Charger)

You need to remember, or know, torsion bars/springs/connecting rods/many other car parts etc don't last forever. They do lose the load/work capacity over time. Just like us humans. We are not as strong, last as long etc as we used to be when we were young and studly. Therefore, replace the items...

Firm Feel vs PST Torsion Bars

A tip I read awhile back in a Mopar suspension upgrade book was to go by the weight of the front end of the car, calculate 10% of that and it would give you your starting point for rates. Pretty much what Dick from FF set me up with on the front bars for my 65 after I gave him the scale figures...

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

Just about ready to weld the patch piece in. Got it fitted up fairly well, paint/grundge etc buffed off the weld areas. There was a bit of additional damage to some of the surrounding pieces, but I've got most of that stuff dealt with. Tomorrow after I give Tiny Boy[ Zeke] a bath, he's been...

    New from Santa Clarita, California

Welcome from the central coast. I'll be cruising through your hood in a month on the way to Woodley. Like others have mentioned, attend that show/swap. Very worthwhile. I'll be in my wagon showing/spectating/shopping/hanging out.

Firm Feel vs PST Torsion Bars

FF units are made in the U.S. No clue about PST. Another one to source bars from is BAC. Peter sources U.S. made units. The price difference you are wondering about could very well be the source of manufacture. Others will chime in with hands on experiences. I have FF stuff for my 65 but have...
