Hi folks,

Im going to back to original radiator, fan and clutch in my 69 AC 383. Now have aluminium radiator with 2 + 1 electric fans, she has 500hp but I dont know the mods, and a new aftermarket AC Sanden compresor…

Wich Water pump, outlet, thermostat, hoses, cap, can you recommend me?

Thank you and best regards

What radiator? Glen Ray? Robert Shaw thermostat, 370 - 180/195. Flashpower o-ringed thermostat housing and Flowkooler pump.

IMO...get rid of the electric fans, and go back to the original cooling system, using a GlenRay 26" radiator, fan clutch and shroud and 7 blade fan as originally supplied, a 180 degree tstat and a flow cooler pump. It is irregardless of how much hp the engine develops only how much WASTE HEAT IS produced. 500 hp OF HEAT DOES NOT ALL GO TO THE RADIATOR...85% goes to propel the car and parasitic losses......just my opinion of course.....btw....500 hp = 2545 Btu/hr or 500 x 2545 = 1,272,500 Btu/hr.......it sounds as if you've been duped by the radiator supplier into buying what he is selling, not on what you need......

Glen Ray radiator, shroud, Robert Shaw 180 full flow stat, FlowKooler pump, 216 fan, and a Hayden clutch work good for me in my cars at 550-570 hp.
