Cats. My daughter who lives in the house behind us has four. We had one when our daughter moved out about 2010 or so when she said she would come back to get him when she got settled in her apartment. That didn't happen. He stayed with us until the day he died. We no longer allow any of our...
I finally found some info on the trap after wire brushing it a little. It is a Triumph Easy Set 3XK triple clutch style trap. Triumph was in business from around 1913 to 1935. Very interesting history. Not worth much. Wall art for our cabin.
Last week, my grandson was hunting on our place in the mountains. As he was walking along our ATV trail on the east fence line, he came across this. It was already sprung. I'm debating on whether to strip the rust off of it in a bath or leave it as is. I want to use it as a wall decoration in...
I ran into the same problem on my 74 Charger. I had to replace the ferrule nut on the new lines to the correct size to use in the proportioning valve block. I also had to re-bend/massage the new lines to work to hook up to the proportioning block. The lines from the master cylinder to the new...
A very good story and I enjoyed reading it. On tire prices, I had a good deal come my way about 2 years ago as I was looking for tires for the 74 Charger. I happened to be going in the tire center door for service at Walmart which I rarely do. In the outdoor rack, I see a set of new Uniroyal...
I just remember a few other cars I got for cheap that were drivable. One was a 1936 Chevy Standard sedan for $100. I drove it for a few months in 1970. Another was a 1966 Chevy Impala with a 283 for $1200 that I drove for a year before selling it for what I paid for it in order to buy the 71...
The best deal I ever got was when I paid $1950 for my 71 Challenger Shaker 340 Convertible in June 1972. The next best deal for a running car was my 74 Charger Rallye for $1200 in 1987. I still have both. The Challenger had a dented fender which cost me $100 to get repaired in 1972.

I like having a choice of which to drive. The 2015 is even nicer than the 71 Challenger and 74 Charger for travelling. I love the 340 in the 71 convertible although it was not designated as an R/T like the 340 hardtop was. I've had four 70 Challengers with the 383. An R/T SE hardtop, an R/T...
Here's a hitch installed on my 74 Charger that was on it when I bought it. I wouldn't tow anything weighing more than 1000 lbs with it. No thanks.

DMT has that same type of clip with their splash shield. Here's a close up photo of one I got with their splash shield. You might contact them. My wheel well lip mouldings came with screws on my 74 Charger.

Back in post # 13, I stated my grandson wanted to hunt on our land in the mountains but he had not taken/completed the Hunter Safety course required for him. This past April, I told him I was taking the course and he should too. We both attended 5 nights for 3 hours and the shooting range on...
Getting the storage Building we're building at the cabin in the mountains weather tight before winter wet weather sets in and continue work on the Challenger. Maybe replace the flooring upstairs in our house.
