Hate to do it but we probably need a new house more so...
I need to sell my Polara. Original 383 2 barrel, pushbutton auto. It sat for 23 years in a barn in Maine until January when got it, since then, in my limited time (damn kids and the car is 100 miles from me), I've redone the brakes...
Little background story: I picked up an 8 3/4 a few months back to stick in my 63 so I wouldn't have to bother with the tool to get my drums off ever. I knew I'd have to do the brakes as my car has been sitting in a barn since 88. I was in a hurry with a 1 month old at home and did a once over...
Cool! Looks like the same color scheme as mine, but it much better shape.
What kind of headliner do you have? Mine has a weird cardboard type material, doesn't look like there was ever a cloth one. Has anyone seen this before?

383man, nice ride!
How big are the fronts? I also have a 63 Polara and would like to put as big a tire up front as I can without changing too much. I've read 225/60 and maybe 235/60, anyone else?
Nice pickup! And you even got 1 headlight ring, mine came with none, strike that, 2 in the trunk that are totally pancaked.
Wish I had your motor too.
Post more pics when you pick it up.
The dash on my 63 Polara has seen better days and I'm curious if this was originally painted or plated? Are there paint alternatives? What is the correct color etc?
Hey thanks Crossram, I really appreciate it.
The color is turquoise according to this: http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/63dgpt1.jpg
What I think is interesting is the car was built on Oct. 25 and I have the original bill of sale on Nov. 9 1962. I guess it didn't sit on the lot very...
