This is OER Part No.MF-272. I purchased it new some time ago and installed it in my 1970 Coronet. At that time I took the original unit and sent it out to be restored. When returned I switched out both units and put this one away. No need for it at this point other than a spare. Price is $45.00...
This is a used parking lense that is clear for a 1970 Superbird. Has crack in the lense from a low stone hit but no material is missing. Still in good usable condition. Price is $75.00 plus shipping. Price includes gasket. Located in zip code 14072. Will accept personal check (will wait until it...
In dry storage for years. Carb is in very good original condition but will need rebuilt before going into any car. Carb is for a 440 C.I. with 727 automatic. It is complete even with it's triangular metal tag. Stamped numbers are clear. Was going to restore and use on a future project but had a...
I will not buy from Coker. They sold me 2-3 year old tires based on date codes as new that was sitting on their shelf. These were a brand that you see everyday on these classics. I suggested that their warehouse must not be rotating stock. Bottom line it was a mess. i will pay more to go...
Great feedback from everyone. I have purchased many cars and old trucks in my years and even when you look at a vehicle in person let your gut instinct help you to go in one direction or another. Mechanicals can always be easily fixed but I always wanted a car with good bones especially with...
This radiator was removed from our families Superbird in 2017 and put into dry storage using Glen-Ray's box from the new unit. The Bird is an automatic with a standard 440 cubic inch motor with a 4 barrel. The original radiator did not have any real issues but while we were changing all the...
Thanks Everyone - when gauge is not accurate its easy to keep pumping. It's better than running out of gas on I-90 in the middle of nowhere. Diagram above appears to match up to my photo. My car is not Cal Emissions.
Greetings all, I have a 1970 Coronet 500 that was restored 20 years ago and still shows well. The original gas gauge is not accurate but it at least lets me know there is gas in the tank. This evening I wanted to add 4-5 gallons of gas in preparation for going to cruise night. The tank took 4...
On my 1970 Coronet we put the car up on a lift and let gravity drop the rear axle giving us access to changing out the sending unit. There is a place in Ohio that restores originals. The repo would not work in my car.
Thanks everyone for your ideas and techniques used on removing your hoods. I agree in that technique is the name of the game vs just using back muscles. Have a good weekend.
Thanks for the input. Do you have any idea what these hoods weigh ? Also, have you ever driven you car to cruise nights without the hood just so you don't have to bother with it ?
These A12's are great and I always thought it would be great to own one. The one thing that has held me back is the thought of removing the hood and re-installing the same by myself and not damaging anything. When us guys approach our mid-sixties and our backs aren't what they used to be that...
Price reduced to $150/tire or will sell all four for $500 plus shipping. Buyer must confirm tires will be used for trunk spare for period correct look or for show due to their date of manufacture. These have a great look but the ride especially after setting for awhile was not the same as...
