The Elephant In The Room: unloading the load from a B-body.

A Dana is not 100lbs heavier. 50lbs at most with a sure grip. Wthh a spool the difference is even closer. Not to mention that a Dana has a more efficient pinion height. Most anyone I've ever seen that has done back to back tests has not slowed going to a Dana. When making a part light it's only...

    Rocky's Road Runner

So this is it, the last of the rusty parts that need to be cleaned up and painted on this project. The molasses tank will take too long so tomorrow I will rig up something to dunk these in evaporust.

What's it Worth 69 Roadrunner - project car

I’ll stick my neck out and say it would move at $12-15K with a clean title. Rust repair and unknown’s are the negatives. The car does have things going for it.

She doesn't know. I don't even think it's Mopar. Probably a tow-hitch from a convertible Corvette. Did you find any white walk-socks attached prior to showing us the bracket here @joerachet ?

What's it Worth 69 Roadrunner - project car

IMO it would depend on you resources and metal skills along with time, Holes in the frame mean that this thing may look like cheese after stripped.

Bobby Allison won't be down for breakfast...

I knew Bobby in the mid 80's when he raced a lot in Wisconsin. I picked him up at the Baraboo, WI airport when he was racing at Wisconsin Dells Raceway. He flew in with his wife Judy and his pilot and wife. My pos B150 van had a hole in the floor just about the leaky exhaust...Judy threw up...

    Tremec TKX shifter handle

Guess that I missed that it came with the trans. Yes, call them. That lever/handle looks exactly like a bayonet console one. They machined it to fit the TKX. Or an overdrive bayonet lever/handle. My Dart had an bayonet overdrive lever/handle modified the same way to fit a Hurst Competition...

Help me tear down and inspect my 440..

grab the pushrods to see if any are loose. If you can take excellent photos of the cam lobes, you will get good opinions. I don't see any black that's always a good sign

    Unscrewing my dash

Installed the relay and checked the light switch. Next is some attention to the motor. The contact at the end of the run for opening doesn't disconnect the power. Hoping some corrosion on the contacts and a little lube will take care of it. Speedo cable arriving soon.
