The best street converter I had behind my 440 was a stock early 70s 340/727 piece. I took it from my friends car, swapped him my stock big block. He was looking for tighter, I wanted a bit more stall. We were both happy. Maybe find a cheap small block 727 from a generic rebuilder?

In 2021 when I swapped in the Tremec, I decided to change the appearance of my console. I had the traditional woodgrain applique but went a different route after the transmission swap. A similar black type console door would be great.

I have a larger version which I've had since the earth cooled down to form continents. And it still works fine.

I'm liking everything I see here, but I have a question. I don't see an outside mirror on the passenger door. Has it been removed or was the car not optioned with one? I'm not at all well versed on the '73 & '74 B bodies. Great acquisition for your collection!
