I haven't tuned a motor since high school shop 45 years ago. Came upon this Craftsman at a yard sale for $12. Do you think it's any good (will have to do a little homework) for any adjustments to a electronic ignition and edelbrock carb on a stock 66 440?

...I bought mine back in the late 60's when I started racing..used it alot in my oval track days..nowdays maybe once a year it gets hooked up on my 66 Hemi to check dwell mostly..been a very good piece...

I've got one just like it that I bought new years ago, and it still works fine.

It sure ain’t doin any good sittin on that hood and fender like it is, I honestly think you should of put it on a fender cover on the car first then took the picture. Anyways, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. To me all the old stuff is better than the new. Does it have a cord to plug into a power outlet? I don’t think it would hurt to plug it in and try it if it has one. If you don’t wanna use it, just put it on a shelf as a display piece. By the way, you stole it for $12.00! There was this one here for sale a couple years ago for $75.00…. SOLD - Sears Craftsman Engine Analyzer, and I also just did a quick facebook marketplace search too and they are selling for $40.00 to $100.00.

I have a larger version which I've had since the earth cooled down to form continents. And it still works fine.

It should be fine, mine is still working that I bought sometime back in the 80's. Good purchase for $12.00 bucks!!
