I have no idea why ImperialServices has such bad service. I waited 5 years for one of their conversion cables for my 65 to the newer 727. I wasn't going to give up as I paid up front during Chrysler Carlisle.
...currently in his parts list of stuff that he sells.
Wish I had more free money...I woulda bought two or three and hoarded them!
I was going to order mine from imperialservices as well, but the thought of spending $120 and then waiting forever to probably.not receive it didn't sit well...
Do not buy from ImperialServices!!! You've been warned!
Contact @Joe Suchy , he's your '62 to '65 guy.
Another alternative is find a nice used one.
As long as your original cable isn't frayed, you can repair your old one with the heavy duty shrink tube as used for electrical wiring. Then...
...is, or was, a company making an adapter to use a later trans with a cable shift car. I used to be on the mailing list at the 62 to 65 Mopar site. Might look over there for info. (Maybe ImperialServices or something similar was the company name?)...
In case you didn't read my post in response to Imperialservices in the other thread, Steve Charette still has $410 dollars and I have nothing after sending a check in August of 2015. He is a liar and a thief. Deal with him AT YOUR OWN RISK!
If I ever get the chance... well, I just leave it at that
...they can sell you a cable setup to fit in the much easier to find 66-and up 727's (I think these are really cables from ImperialServices???)
Im no guru by any means, but im wondering if first gear grinds and the case cracked if you didn't bust the case with a fried sprag??? Does it leak...
...- '65 parts. Unfortunately you have to pay the price for that mount. Nine times out of ten, when you find a new one, its made by ImperialServices, no matter who you buy it from.
I tried to get one from Imperial for mine and it took forever. Luckily I used PayPal and had to contact them to...
ImperialServices is the only guy that has ever made these. He has shot himself in the foot so many times, I'm not sure what his status is anymore. All vendors get these from him.
I went through this almost two years ago. I ordered one from him and after all of the jerking around and no...
...$200 up to $450! So today I was cleaning mine and sure enough it's broke. Went in the house and Googled it once again and up pops "Imperial Services". Never heard of them. They have them for $99 plus shipping!
So I was just wondering if anyone has dealt with them before. I placed an order...
...out of stock indefinitely.
It comes from Scumacher, allegedly, but they don't make it, and they're out of stock of everything. ImperialServices made it, or got it from Schumacher, it appears they're defunct, website is down too.
There's a used one on ebag for $250.
I actually have...
I bought the one for my '62 with original transmission from Classic Industries. They are made by ImperialServices. Don't deal with ImperialServices. I'm hearing recent comments about Classic Industries too.
Look closely at what you are ordering. The flat part has two different lengths...
The last one I bought cost me $120 with shipping. Pricey ? You Bet ! and that was about 5-6 years ago. At one time Steve at ImperialServices was trying to have them reproduced.I see his name on that pinion chart.
