Engineers really don’t think about maintenance Spark plugs Hemi Ram….

Oh yeah. I bought this one needing a rebuilt engine. I took it on as a challenge I think more than anything. I'm a pretty big guy and I had to make up some fancy tool combinations and techniques to get it done. Kind of Peed me off it was pretty much as fast as a stock HemiCuda.

A few more backyard wildlife pics.

I'm going to get a crossbow one of these days.

Engineers really don’t think about maintenance Spark plugs Hemi Ram….

I didn't complain too much changing the plugs on mine. I swear everytime I pull the oil filter and it spills on the front diff and electrics though. Not looking forward to changing the cam and lifters either. I might pull the engine out when I do that, or maybe the cab off might be easier.

    My GY8 '71 Road Runner

Looks great! I bet you don't know what to do with your free time now, after a workout like that it's hard to not go to the shop and grab sandpaper, it becomes a habit. I painted my 71 as well and know exactly how it feels sanding all those curves, closest thing to a straight panel on these cars...

    Stelantis NEW Frame Package …….

I think my next truck will be a mint 80's Dodge if I can find a nice one. Something without electronics. I figure If I find a low mileage one for somewhere under $20k I'll be able to keep it running long after this new junk is dead and buried, I also don't want anything that big brother can...

    1979 Chrysler 300 Race car

Neat car. I always liked those 300's other than the wheels. Get tired of Duster race cars (although much better than Camaros).

    Don’t ship with USPS!

Canada Post gives good service and I try to use them if possible, They've been going on strike just ahead of Christmas since the 70's though. These unions kill everything they get their hands on. I think their starting wage for no qualification, new employees is in the $25/hr range. Govt...

    Someone explain this 73 SE!

It would be rare with the sunroof. I've always had mixed feelings on the traditional 73-74 SE roof but at least it is distinctive and in 73 it was in style. You couldn't really tell it was an SE with the other option.

    Someone explain this 73 SE!

Somewhere I have a brochure and I believe that was a no cost option (so it is original), Not sure why anyone would do that though. Rallye gauges?

    Will these fit?

235X60X15 on my Dodge, I don't recall the backspace though (just off the shelf 15X7 American Racing Torq Thrusts). No rub. I've never compared the Dodge to Plymouth though.

Advance Auto Parts Closing 500 Stores

Things sometimes turnaround. In my province a fellow started a parts chain and basically just kept buyin out all the little parts stores or ran them into bankruptcy. It was impossible to beat his prices so we all went there. He died and his chain is still pretty big but the prices are now too...

Broke down and tried a new converter

I've long thought that's the right way to build a street car. 3.2's, stroker torque. Nicely done.

BS on changing tire alignment specs from stock.

My PS cars I always get as much caster as I can with the offset bushings. MS though I can understand fitting into the stock caster settings to help a bit with parking and low speed jockeying. With the stock settings and the frontend in good shape I never encountered wandering or rut following...

BS on changing tire alignment specs from stock.

Back in the 70's I bolted on a set of Michelin radials on my 67 GTX, manual steering. No other changes, what a great upgrade and I didn't die! Changed my 70 Challenger R/T over to radial T/As in the 70's as well with no other changes, I didn't die then either.

What would you do next to this 318

When I bought my new 92 D150 with the new 318 Magnum I was shocked. My 86 with the old style 318 ran 19.20s and this new Magnum ran close to 16.0's. I vote for a set of Magnum style heads. I don't know if those iron Magnum style heads are still available though, used to be made in Australia as I...

Old dealership emblem, to keep or not to keep...

Cool piece for sure. If I couldn't get it rechromed I would put it on a display board at least, I would have a hard time putting it on a shiny car if it wasn't looking new as well.
