I ended up going with a similar setup to yours. QA1 K, uppers, lowers, strut rods and sway bar. Also used Borgeson box, Bergman tie rods, pitman/idler and hemi torsion bars.
I did the Baer T4 brakes as well.
I ended up buying a USCT stiffening kit which was a late decision in the project. I’m...
Yep, the tag is mostly broken off the rivet.
There is a chance that I have the tag somewhere. This motor has been under a bench in my shop since the early 80s so hopefully it’s around. I’ll keep an eye out for it.
I have a complete 71’ 383 warranty motor.
Turquoise block
date coded 11-17-70
The VIN pad is machined but doesn’t have a vin stamped into it.
This motor was from a 67’ Newport
The motor was replaced under dealer warranty in 71’
It is a complete motor from oil pan to intake manifold.
The motor...
Glad I brought your excitement level back up a notch.
On the 4-post you are going to have to get the front lifted off the suspension regardless. You will probably need a cross beam to hang the engine and the rest won’t be a huge deal.
I pre-assembled everything including the brakes and...
I have an essentially brand new set of Eagle Alloys 15x7 rims with BFGoodrich Radial T/A 245/60R15 tires mounted on them.
They were bolted on to my roadrunner to move it around the shop but never actually hit the road.
I’m asking $500
Pick up anytime in Burlington, MA
They could also be...
Why is it not so common in the Mopar world to run high/low breather catch cans so both systems can function as designed but without sending the crap back into the engine or all over the side of it?
I use sealed breather catch cans/separators (can hold vacuum or pressure) on the PVC side of some...
Ah, I see what you did there. LOL
They actually fit really well and even the little bit of grinding is disclosed in the instructions.
Most of the time stuff like that is a surprise for you to figure out on your own.
Baer makes a nice product with what I would consider to be a near OEM level...
In regards to the brake lines the instructions from Baer say that if you have front mounted calipers that you need to swap you spindles to the opposite side of the suspension so that you will be installing the kit in the rear mounted position.
I had to grind the top bolt hole for the bracket...
Thank you. Did you cut the frame side down a bit?
They don’t come up on ARPs site when I search for AR2.500-1b
I don’t see them on summit but found them on another site as a special order item.

Does that look right?
On summit I can...
I purchased a partially finished 69’ coronet R/T over the winter that came with a fresh engine build and included a cast iron six pack intake and a set of 340 Six Pack carbs as well as a bunch of linkage in a box.
I have no idea if any of the linkage that was in the box is actually correct for...
Well, I decided to give it a try on my 68’ coronet R/T.
I ordered the frame, upper and lower arms, strut rods and sway bar.
I’m going to pair it with Bergman idler/pitman/tierods/column bearing and a Borgeson box.
The parts arrived and they look great to me but we’ll see once the car goes...
Measured and ordered Tuesday and they arrived today!
These are exactly the same as the original part.
Thanks again 1 Wild R/T , that was a great suggestion.
For anyone that needs them in the future the part number is 1281N18
Does anyone know if the brass pedal bushings are still being sold?
If not where can I get an original nylon bushing?
I found an old thread for the brass ones from 2017 but it was closed along time ago.
I’m having a little trouble locating this little part.
I have figured out that it is a door glass channel run and found the bracket from a member here.
I also learned that the channels are hard to come by and also not produced at the moment.
Looks like I’ll be attempting to repair mine.
If anyone has a decent set please message me.
