I believe the 440 block is the limiting factor as the main webbing is prone to cracking under pressure. Pun intended Using aluminum main caps might actually be better than running a girdle. :popcorn:

Hello, I'm new to the site and look forward to being part of the community. I currently own 3 1967 GTXs in various states of restoration. All are 440s with one being a 4spd. The 4 spd is currently at the body shop being prepped and painted.

P.S. being a normal car means you can cut it up and build it however you want... leave the numbers matching stuff to the boring guys :)

I have an automatic console from a 65 Coronet. It is complete with wiring harness and courtesy lights. There is a small hole that will need repair on the edge of storage container. $290.00 for the console and $65.00 for the mounting brackets. If one has dimensions for the brackets I can remove...
