This picture shows the Edelbrock 650 CFM AVS2 carb and it's still a square bore.

The 8519 is a OEM stock replacement gasket. The 1009 is a performance replacement gasket. Which cylinder head gasket did the engine have in it before?

So your almost finished the cylinder heads. Did you follow the instructions?

So you installed a square bore carburetor onto a spread bore intake manifold with one thin gasket. If you install the seal plate and 2 gaskets (shown in post #12) the engine will run better than it does now.

That rotor looks like it's in good condition. Do you have pictures of the other rotor?

Did it start running ruff after you installed the fuel pump?

I'm pretty sure the upper radiator hose should attach to the 22 inch radiator on the drivers side, not the passenger side.

The size of the intake valve bowl looks like it's too big to fit a porting template.

After you started up this engine for the very first time (9 Years ago) did you do a cylinder head re-torque?

If it's boiling power steering fluid it will also boil fuel in the carb which can get expensive. If it was me I would remove the rad cap, block the wheels and run the engine to operating temperature and see if there are any bubbles, increase rpm to 1500 or more if need be.

No your not losing it, it looks like an M1 dual plane intake manifold.

I bet this bushing could be better quality it has the same "Harris" name the old Moog bushing use to have on it. I wonder what the inside diameter is.

To reduce the stumble increase the ignition timing to 17 degrees take notes on how it works and then try 19 degrees (with the vacuum advance hooked up and plugged) Adjust the idle speed back to 750 rpm

The engine looks good. It could be a good time for a cylinder head re-torque. Re-torque spec is 75 foot pounds.

Can you post a picture of the shifter linkage?

Is the transmission mount in good condition?
