I'm going to help a buddy replace his fan cluth on a 70 Charger RT w/440 & a/c. Can it be R & R without taking a lot of stuff off ?? Or can i loosen the shroud & wiggle it out ?
I'm not sure about the coil. But I had an orange box start to break up at about 2500 rpm's. Drove me nuts for a while. Changed the box only to still have the same problem. Found out I had a box ecu right out of the box. Had to put another one one. Then it worked perfectly.
I just seen pics of a 440 stamping was was shaved off. On the front engine boss, only part of the info was there. The F440 was there & the letters HP were there. Looks like any other info were machined off. Any reason for that to be done ??
My La built 70 RR six barrells fender tag does not list the 3 spd wipers on it. I know they were std on this car. Should the fender tag have them listed ??
I have a 70 Roadrunner V code that I would rather trade or would sale & get another car. My car has the numbers matching 440. Correct 1970 727 not numbers matching. Motor has been completely rebuilt less than 900 miles since rebuild. I put on 440 source aluminum heads. A lot of the engine parts...
