1974 Charger: What does a OEM Jack assembly look like?

The jack and base are likely correct for a 74 since I bought the car in 1977. I'm thinking the shorter handle is the correct one and is like the first photo you posted.

1974 Charger: What does a OEM Jack assembly look like?

It is very possible different plants would have different colors. My car is from the Lynch Road plant. I have two different tire wrenches so I'm not sure which is correct. One is shorter than the other. The shorter one looks like the one in the photo you posted. The grey is a bit lighter than...

1974 Charger: What does a OEM Jack assembly look like?

My 74 Charger has a jack and base the same color as Vaanth's 73 Duster. Both are grey.

74 Charger lower steering column bearing

Does anyone have a photo of the lower bearing installed on a floor shift steering column. The 74 is different from the 73 and older. I know a ER-16 bearing will likely fit, but I may want to go original. Thanks!

    74 Charger outer Wheelhouse

This is likely the same from 71-74. This is the outer wheelhouse that meets the trunk drop-off and trunk floor. The section circled in red goes under the inner wheelhouse, but it is flanged up a bit. For those of you that have done this before, did you hammer and dolly it flat or cut off the...

    74 Charger outer Wheelhouse

I purchased the AMD passenger side wheelhouse and have read it would need to be modified for a 74 Charger. I'm just in the process of removing the old rusted one so haven't tried it yet. Has anyone changed a 73-74 outer wheelhouse and can tell me where it will need to be modified. I've search...

AMD 1973-74 Dodge Charger quarter panels available

I bought the passenger side a year ago. I removed my old one and clamped on the new one. Nice fit. I just had a problem at the deck filler, but my car had damage there so I’m sure that was the problem. I have a few things to do before I weld it on.

3rd gen in AMD test center

Thanks Gary! What years did he supply and test fit? I bought a full AMD quarter for my 74 Charger. So far, I've only test fit and have a couple areas to tweak. I don't think it's the part since my car was obviously hit in this area at some point.

3rd gen in AMD test center

The roof would make sense since it fits so many years. I wonder if the car belongs to a member here?

    Steering column lock spring

I couldn't find the spring either. I can't believe they sell the collar and don't include a cheap part like the spring. Here is a link to someone that made one. It would be great if a member could make a bunch from an original. I'm sure they could sell a ton of them...

    K Frame Resto.

I wire wheeled and blasted mine and then sprayed it with Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black Satin Paint The paint was $50 plus shipping so $200 is a good price and much less work. Of course saving $150 here and there does add up.

1973 Plymouth RR torsion bar adjuster replacement

I searched everywhere and couldn't find correct 8" Ubolts for my 74. You can get the correct length at Mancini Racing or ESPO (Springs 'n Things) but they won't have the flattened top with the crosshatch. What length did you get? I'm curious if the 7 1/8" Ubolts would work. What axle housing do...

Rear speaker to defogger motor adapter for a '71-'74 B-body

Sorry I don't have a photo, but when my 74 was a daily driver in the 70's I mounted it to the right side trunk brace. It wasn't stock looking but was better than a frost shield in the winter. Remember frost shields? LOL

1973 Plymouth RR torsion bar adjuster replacement

Another case of a company selling parts that aren't right for a 1973 B body. PST, who is a sponsor here, is the only company that has the correct size. Their's fit 73-79 B body. I bought them for my 74 Charger and they fit. Part # TORADJ-C Specs Bolt - 9/16" bolt with 3/4" head with overall...

    72 Charger Steering column modification

Does it work without the spring? I emailed Tony's Parts and they replied it doesn't come with the spring. Seems like an easy part to reproduce and include with the collar.
