That's part of the reason why they re-fuel the Blackbird after take-off.....as it leaks so much fuel until reaching a decent airspeed.

No. It's pure science....speed generates heat, and heat makes metal expand. :)

Come on, man...It just seemed impossible. I thought you might have been exaggerating to see who was paying attention.

Up to nine inches in total length - haps opened up all over the aircraft - it only takes a small amount along the entire length to add up fast. Some of those articles printed these days are AI generated from tosh that other people have written while being mis-informed. I have been on-board two...

Bushing six pack rods for 1.094 pins

There is an assumption that I do not know anything about rods and crankshafts? I have worked in a specialist V8 machine shop for 25 years! I can bore blocks, deck blocks, regrind crankshafts and balance them as well. Rod prep has been my go to subject for 25 years. All I asked for was thoughts...

Bushing six pack rods for 1.094 pins

Hello PsyOps, At last in 2025 a sensible question. Factory slugs are cast six-pack pistons. The new replacements are Indian Speed Pro, forged. How good they are is yet to be discovered? They are no heavier than the factory High compression cast piston. I could lighten them but reciprocating...

Nine inches?? I had to look this up. It seemed impossible! The article states 30 mm which is what? 1 3/16". Is that in diameter or in length?

Swap windshield wiper motor from 2 speed to 3 speed

Switch itself should be the same between any B body, not the rocker thought between standard and Rallye cluster being diff design. I don’t think there is a diff between 2 or 3 speeds rocker? Or they do? Just thinking out loud.

I ger it, you don't. No Chrys engine ever came from the factory with 21* of initial timing. You have increased your init timing to 21*, which is duplicating what MVA would do. Engine doesn't care how it gets it's timing, as long as it gets it....... So you have realised the benefits..... The...

Bushing six pack rods for 1.094 pins

So, just curious, what kind of metal has to come out of the crank when you lighten the Six Pac rods to below LY rods weight? Also, please excuse me if I missed it, what pistons are you using? Are they factory slugs? Thanks and Mopar to ya!

Anyone here been zapped by a scorpion? Just want to compare notes.

Great caliber, 38 Super has been used successfully many times on the ranch, many old timers in this part of the country call it a .357mag in a 1911. :)
