Paint for my challenger in 87 was about 100 bucks for DuPont Centari. Paint for My 67 Coronet RT was about 200 ish in 99. Haven’t recently checked on F5 green for the 69 RR. I’m sure my rear end will pucker
I bought my # matching 69 383 4spd RR about 3 years ago for 7500. I’ve put tons of new metal on it since and have most of the new legendary correct interior. 30 hours to hang new sheet metal? You could hardly disassemble and cut the old stuff off in that time. Let alone prep to start fitting the...
Yes I’m almost more concerned about the inner structure than making the outside. Figured on maybe two pieces meeting in the middle area to get things halfway correct. Then making a sample strip for the inside and taking to my old work place (military aircraft sheet metal shop) and do a left and...
Down to my last rust repair on my 69 road runner. Lower rear area rust through outer and inner sheet metal. No repair patches available. Some complex curves here especially on the inside. Thought about maybe buying lower door patches for a large two door car to make some patches. Something like...
Looking for a good donor section of about 12” from the R/H pass side outer most end of a torsion bar cross member for my 69 road runner. I’m in Topeka KS. Thanks.
Upper shock mount cross member is good. Lower mount pins are sprung some though. I still have the hanger brackets but I welded new ones on and bought new straps. Still looking for J bolts. You would think the straps would have came with some.
I guess when in doubt look at FSM dummy. Boot should have plain steel ring and attached with four screws then add chrome trim ring on top with another four screws
Most likely something to that but I do believe it is original to the car and maybe a factory goof up. There is a pn of 295007-53495 on the ring. Extra holes in hump appear even/round and factory drilled.
Did all non console cars have eight holes in the hump and just use four screws? Maybe that’s...
I’m lucky to have a good friend that does chrome plating and such. I went to a show last month and there was a couple 4spd cars with four screw bezels and I couldn’t stop looking at them
