    Thanks you for all your help. I was able to un-thread the button and knob and spring. I ran a tap through the hole. The correct thread is a 10-24 as mentioned above. I just wanted to share my findings so someone later can search and learn. Cheers

    Last owner bought it that way and I have not changed it out. on the Bee. Steering wheel locks on the 71. Dont have the linkage for the 70 column to lock.
