Update - Just re-assembled the unit on the bench and the breakaway torque was 125 lbs and about 115-120 lbs rotating force. I think I'm good to go. I now have another to take apart and do the process over. Thanks again to all who responded.

I own my favorite off-brand muscle car, too. If you were REALLY going to force one on me, I think I could do with a 1970 Torino Cobra with a 429. I wouldn't put up much of a fuss. :lol: I also dig the Aussie 1974 Falcon XB GT, which ironically looks very similar to the Torino Cobra.

I've had a real Mopar orange box that died apart to draw a schematic of the guts out of my own curiosity The one you sliced open appears to have about 80% less parts than the real deal. Looks like whoever built that one used a minimal design concept. Doubt it has much longevity..
