I've had them go in real easy, and they didn't last long. And had ones like yours that are very tough to install. I suggest softening them up in some hot water and use a lubricant.

I buy the blade material from ebay. I have a good supply. It's more work to change just the blades but it's way way cheaper. And when you have several cars, it's the only way to go! Merry Christmas!
I purchased two new rear drums for my 69 charger one had a weight and the other one didn't. I have a balancer
And the drum without the weight was out of balance. I added a weight and pop.rivet it on with some stainless steel rivets. Ya never know what you're getting nowadays.

Put R134A in my 2000 dakota today. Was moving rocks today and worked up a sweat. Turned on the a/c and no coolness. What the F#@☆ ! Lost ALL Presure. Wouldn't hold a vacuum. So I pressurized the system and discovered a leak. Replaced the o-ring and done!

Thanks for the pic. I wonder what happens when the pump dies? Drill a hole to access the nut and afterwards find a cap to re-seal it? Or back In the day, replace the whole thermguard with a new one. ? Just wondering.........Nice engine compartment!
