While I have you're expert attention, I've been wondering about the firewall stiffening plate behind the brake vacuum booster. Car color or semigloss black like the booster?
NOS = new factory Mopar part (new old stock)
NORS = new aftermarket replacement part (new old replacement stock)

And by the way, if you elevate the car a bit it makes moving the header out of the way easier. Note you do not have to pull the header - just tip it up toward the firewall.
Thank you, yes I did these. I used a wrinkle paint ( I will have to look at the brand when I get home). On the fins, I just sanded the paint off with some sand paper.
I pulled a stock PS box out of my '68 B body in a couple of hours. Not a bad job.
Here's what I did:
1) Unbolt header and tip it up toward the firewall.
2) Remove spark plugs on driver side.
3) Remove battery & tray.
4) Remove PS pump & lines.
5) Remove steering column.
6) Disconnect PS box...
