Rustoleum "textured" black - available at Walmart is a PERFECT match. Because you don't want the finish too coarse its best to coat the frame first with a flat or satin finish - either or. Then lay on a single coat of the textured. Bingo - done!
Or you can take other advice, **** around trying...
Got mine here or FABO, they were not pretty.
Remnants of wrinkle paint on them, however only the area in-between the fins are cast with the wrinkle.
I saw an nos set on marketplace a few years ago for ridiculous $, in the box.
Does anyone have a resource for the date code glass stencils? I know ECS sells the glass with the etching but a friend found a place that sells the glass at less then half the price of ECS and it's guaranteed to fit. We're looking for a source for the stencils to etch the glass ourselves. TIA
