Wrecking leaving shows is more of a Mustang thing!

I had an `83 Mustang GT I bought brand new - all black, 5.0 manual transmission, it was a quick, fun little car. I went sideways in second gear many times but never wrecked or almost took out any pedestrians. As for a car that has 800+ HP, goes 10.80 and 203mph where can you go other than a track and use that kind of power for more than 2-3 seconds without risking getting arrested?

I could easily own a 66-67 Ford Fairlane GT or GTS either one would be fine. Or a 68-70 Javelin, no problem, especially if it had the 390 engine.

The Machine is very cool, and very rare, but i think I would rather have a Scrambler (less ostentatious paint scheme please).

But then you couldn’t say “I am the machine “. I saw a machine in person at classic dealer in St Louis. There was one on the internet recently for $55k. But you are right. They are rare. I think less than 3000 built. Not all came with the red white and blue paint. You could get them in other colors. I think the machine was the brain child of Hurst executives.
