I just looked on AMD's website and didn't see bumpers listed for a 70 Dodge. And I also didn't see a listing for 68-69 Plymouth bumpers, which is scary as it is a popular year.
I have AMD bumpers on my 69 GTX and like the quality.
Teenage me took my 318 heads to the machine shop and they gnurled the guides. Never any notable issues over the six subsequent years and many miles of use and abuse.
Only concerns with tile are:
Everything you drop on it, breaks.
Weight.
This is an old building - 1952 - and the floors are...wavy, as it is. Add a layer of backer board, then mastic, then tile and grout....
I've done plenty of tile in my day. My old house, I tiled the basement when I...

At the height of the economic boom of the 1960s, my dad would lecture me about it not being sustainable. He was a WWII veteran, and his take was that we riding the wave from our victory, but it would crest, and the rest of the world would respond with cheaper stuff. His advice was to get a job...
Generally worn guides are drilled and tapped and a new bronze guide threaded in - much like a Heli-coil - "set" into the threads then reamed for the proper fit. Then the seat is done based on the guide. Not a job you'd do in your shed !!!
I had a set of heads that someone had drilled and...
...when they slam on the brakes skidding up to a window to look out, a fat gal in high heels will dent it and the biggy, your renters won't give a sh*t about the dents and bruises they put in it. My last three houses have been, totally waterproof, pet friendly, 10 year commercial and lifetime...
misunderstood your meaning, I think ostentatious might have been too strong or incorrectly used in this instance.
