"Mod Top" & Interior - Fender Tag Codes

Since there are is a lot of Mopar knowledge here I am bringing this thread back to life for a reason. And the reason is...I have a mod top question concerning the interior. Were white vinyl seats with floral inserts a factory option? I have seen a very nice 69 mod top satellite with both the...

    WTB Interior windshield trim clips

I'm going to use 2 screws per clip (one in each of the prong holes). I will leave the 2 prongs in their original position. This will help lining the clips in their factory square cutouts. Then carefully drill holes thru the the window channel. I will do plenty of testing of drill hole sizing on...

Refried beans done in actual lard are really good IMO. I really like a simple tostada with refried beans, shredded lettuce and cheese.

Any Brake Master Cylinder Not Made In China?

I remember back in the day, we'd not dream of getting a new master cylinder. We'd just take the old one out, get a rebuild kit, hone it out and put it back together.

This particular car did not come with the H31 rear window defogger, but it is a nice touch. I have thought about adding one to my '70 Charger 500.

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

Although the FAA required only the center fuel tanks to be nitrogen purged, Boeing decided to do all their tanks on the 787 because the composite wings didn't cool down as fast as aluminum wings.

Hood Pins : What Where When and Why?

When I was still daily driving my A12, I replaced two of the hoodpins with aftermarket pins with a bigger thru-hole, and replaced the hairpins with padlocks. Must have worked. I've still got my hood. I used four pins on my gutted steel Cortina hood. It never went anywhere either at 130.

    To poly the leaf springs...

That's basically how my Hotchkis springs came, poly on one end, rubber on the other.

    Lower control arm stiffening plates?

Funny you mention KYB shocks. I have them on my Road Runner. I think they ride too soft.

Looking for correct oil pan gasket

I honestly do not care for the Superformance - particularly if you have to use one on either side of a windage tray. If you DO use them you absolutely MUST use sealant on both sides of each or they WILL leak. Do NOT use silicone, use a proper gasket sealant - usually black or red stuff.
