Like Mark said they were banged up and weird rust from sitting outside. You could see pin holes all along the edges of the trunk rails. The sheet metal was all bought at Carlisle last summer so he can go to town!

Look at your K-Frame. It should be hollow where you would normally jack it up. It will also have notches where the sway bar passes under as circled in the pic below. You can see the lower control arm and tabs as well. Second pic is a Hellwig bar installed in the factory location.

Many after market bars are direct replacements for a factory bar. Firm Feel, Hochkis, and Hellwig are examples.

I have run aftermarket Hellwig bars on 3 70-72 b-bodies with the factory lower control arms with original brackets. The width is the same as a factory bar.

@Moparfiend some measurements for you. Ball Joint center to end link center 6-1/2" Ball Joint center to bracket edge 4-15/16" Note it is also butted up to the rivet. Bottom edge flat to top of bracket 3-9/16"

I would mount the sway bar and see where the end links connect straight up before doing any final welding. I have a pair off my 70 RR I can get a measurement of but it will be tomorrow night before I have a chance.

This a common issue with streaming and cables services. They cannot agree to a contract and drop the channel. One of the reasons I dropped You-Tube TV other than getting local TV from an antenna is they dropped the MLB channel.

I used You Tube TV for a while since it includes the local stations. Once I got the antenna in the attic dialed in I canceled it. I do add it every October for their 30 day free trial to watch the baseball playoffs then cancel. LOL

OK, I am at $4.99 a month for premium with the streaming app. We will see what happens next September.

I do that with Sirius XM. I like my music, it's on 90% vs 10% of the time for TV.

I have an antenna in my attic, I tied it into the splitter the cable used to feed and get 32 channels over the air. Watching the Eagles game right now, free. I have Netflix and subscribe to MLB.tv during the baseball season. All is way cheaper then cable or the $90 a month streaming services.
