Been doing it for many, many years purchases from China per year
averaged $$100 million @FOB level....
I have been asked to write a book about my China experiences..
Just my $0.02...
Hughes offers 413 pistons? I checked and looks like all they have for RB's was for 440's. Silv-o-lite offers cast and I believe speed pro offers some flat-top hypereutectic ones, but there's lead times on those being made. Be prepared to do quite a bit of work to those old heads to get...
okay, spending a lot of time researching, now I see something that with my budget may actually benefit me
All 383s are forged crank, so that would mean they should be also all drilled for a 4 speed, right? Most of the 440s I see are all cast crank, so I would need to get a new one
That said, now...
That's what I was thinking the differences might be, the holes for different options. The fastback Charger has a large hole by the bulkhead connector that no other car had, as an example
The lift should technically be based on the flow of the heads. Stock iron heads somewhat ported.. say around .500. If they do not pick up after that, there is no point going further. On the other hand, a super duper set of indys may keep increasing the flow up to sy .700. If you are using a .500...
I've never had a cam or lifter failure. Too many engines to count. I don't run cheap cams or lifters and usually stay with MOPAR factory HP springs so the loads are around 240 lb to 270 lb open. I instantly start an engine and get it up to speed to break in the cam. I've always run Valvoline...
dadsbee is Correct that is exactly what I'm trying to figure out why the description at AMD States it fits 68 to 70. I agree that I do not believe there is any difference in fitment between 66 and 70 like Mopar Marks stated. What my assumption is that the only difference between the firewalls...
Thanks 70chall. Willing to pay more for higher quality products. I will check them out. Looks like you have quite the car collection! I see you have a Viper in your arsenal, I was ready for a change so I sold my 2010 Viper and picked up the 68 GTX
1966 car if it matters. The box is bolted in, steering column out, torsion bar out, starter out, exhaust hanging in place.
It was always tight getting a manifold off and on with a manual steering box. With the PS box in place it’s looking just near impossible. What’s the trick short of...
@raymond73 - so how do you like the 1.03 torsion bars 4 years later? I also have 2" drop spindles and Bilstein shocks like you in my big block 68 Plymouth Satellite with big block and am considering 1.03 or 1.06 size bars. I currently run 1.00" bars and feel they could be a little stiffer for...
Hi guys… since ever I have been battling with a CORRECT shade of the phasered Rallye stripes made for our cars. Have tried even locally and never got success. Graphics designers never took this seriously. Althought I have tried also get them made with silkscreen technique like originally was...
Here are my **** boxes. Quarter window decals holding them together! Do whatever you want! This hobby is supposed to be fun. Love the decals!
PS don’t forget the back windows!
