FOR SALE 1/2 Dozen 426 Blocks

The 426 blocks and the Shortblock are now sold.

I crawled back and looked at the 413 Blocks and they
are indeed the thick Industrial Block with the extra ribbing.
They are 4.19 standard bore and really nice.

Gregg: Hot Tanked/Acid Washed/Pressure checked/Magged/
Sonic tested/ Carefully inspected and he kept only the best blocks
for his Stock/SS engine builds.
$400.00 each your choice or two for $700.00

I am dropping the price on the fully prepared 426 Race engines
to $1,500.00 your choice. They are fully Machined with all the special preparation
for NHRA competitive Stock/SS racing. I noticed they are ARP studded.
I would do $2,500. for two. My understanding is that they were produced from
rare 426 Industrial castings. But they are two bolt mains unlike the other 426
block that is cast ready for 4 bolt ($1,250). However, non of these blocks have
any casting number from the factory.

I wish I knew more about these parts, but while Gregg did all my machine work =
I have not raced a Max Wedge since Ray Christian bought my 64 Ply. A/SA at Winternationals
in 1977. I just never paid much attention to the Max Wedge stuff he was building
when I was there (Which was very often).

I will try to get the cranks out of the trailer soon = there are some Max Wedges in the pile.

It was.
Now Deleted as parts sold and picked up.
More Max Wedge stuff next week if I have the
energy to go thru some more stuff.

The 426 Shortblock is 697 Casting 12/11/63
It says AAQA on the front. The pad is 426 TMP
and has valve notches on top of bore. Zero ridge or
taper and appears to have very little use. Max Wedge
crank with balance tabs and Max wedge rods.

I can not believe no one has even inquired on this shortblock.
Ten years ago it would have been worth twice this price.

Two 426 Standard 230 Blocks with no ridge and one 730 Standard 426
with VMP 426 on pad and AAQA on front and Valve notches on top of bore.
Standard and no ridge and honing still available.

They are now on Craiglist
Still NO PICTURES ………This IS what one looks like!
