Does anyone know if the 1965 coronet 500 426 street wedge 4 speed came with a center console?, Ours never had one in it when we bought the car, but we could never find any information that said there was one.

Anybody have a good write up on how to rebuild a 833 4-speed 23 spline? Do you think this tranny will be strong enough to handle 500-525 horsepower?

From Colorado. My Dad and I have been working on a 1965 Coronet 500 for several years. 426 street wedge built. 3:90 posi, we lack buying a transmission and some assembly and we should have it running. Andy
