Cast iron bracket for AC compressor on a 383 in 1968

Was that cast iron bracket the goes across the top of the intake painted with the engine or did it go black? Since it’s held on with two of the intake bolts I was curious. Still trying to hunt that particular bracket up by the way. Thought I had one but it’s for a 440. Too wide.

1966 charger door lock rod clip

Here are some pics. The first two of just the clip were pulled from a 66 or 67 Charger. Not sure of the year because i only have the doors. The other two pics are from inside the door of my 67 Coronet parts car. The clips are a little bit different but i'm assuming they're functionally the same...

Disc Brake Swap Rotor 11 or 11.75?

Update: Shakedown issues yesterday but today out on the road and it stops MUCH better than front drums. It literally feels like a barely touch brake older 80s luxury car. Not like modern discs but how I remember cars of that era. Very much worth the effort. What I’m not too thrilled about is...

Replaced the alternator and voltage regulator in my 66 Dodge Charger and it’s still not charging. What else could be the problem.

Its highly likely that you were sold a newer "rebuilt" square back unit....that would require one (of the two field brushes to be grounded) especially if you only have one field wire connection to the original alternator....a green wire. (If it's a dual field and one field is not grounded, it...

    Another plane crash

I think some are getting this plane incident mixed up with the one in DC. I just heard they found the "black box" from the Lear jet.

    16” wheels on b body?

17" are more expensive, than 15" or even 16" 16" are very limited in tires selections/options & *getting a proper sidewall profile of a taller tire, is more difficult with the 17" too IMO there's almost nothing worse than a rubber band tire on an older muscle car, looks like :carrot: Yes it...
