Replaced the alternator and voltage regulator in my 66 Dodge Charger and it’s still not charging. What else could be the problem.

Welcome from Alabama. What alternator did you replace it with. If it's a dual field and one field is not grounded, it still won't charge. Parts house will not tell you this.
 
my 72 had charging problem that turned out to be corrosion inside the wires. Outside looked ok but copper inside was discolored with flecks of green.

Bypassing ammeter gauge and using new wire also got rid of headlights and dash flickering dimming then bright.
 
Original wiring harness? Super likely there's problems there. The main connections do not do well after 50 + years.

Its highly likely that you were sold a newer "rebuilt" square back unit....that would require one (of the two field brushes to be grounded) especially if you only have one field wire connection to the original alternator....a green wire.

You DO NOT need to bypass the ammeter gauge, or run a bypass wire directly to the alternator to the battery. Although there are leageons of people the seem to think this necessary....why??? Refer to the excellent explanation of the MOPAR charging system's operation, available on this site. Do yourself a favor and read the articles by him. Just my opinion of course......
