Can someone tell me the differences between a 440 and a 500 wedge crate motor? I've been told that the 500 wedge crate motor is just a modified 440, but was provided no specifics.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks to everyone that replied to my post. I was able to isolate the problem with the help of the car's wiring diagram. It turns out that when the hydraulic clutch reservoir was installed, which is a tight fit next to the engine compartment bulkhead wiring connectors, the wire for the left...
Hello all. I have a '69 Roadrunner in which the driver's side front bumper as well as the left dash turn signal lights are not operating. When I engage the left turn signal, the only thing that flashes is the driver's rear taillight. I replaced the front bulb but still no change. I also...

Thanks. Working the clutch a bit more down our street seems to work a bit better. I just need to find a way to work the right leg as well. The hydraulic clutch takes a bit to get...
Hi fellow MOPAR enthusiasts. I have a '69 Roadrunner with a 500 wedge crate motor and a newly installed TREMEC TKO 5 speed. It was a conversion from an automatic to manual transmission. I should also mention that a Firebox 6 Ignition Controller was also installed (similar to an MSD 6AL) ...

Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to check it out. My current console cover is in excellent condition so I didn't want to cut it up. I was lucky enough to find one online that I can use to modify the installation while without touching the original cover.
Haven't been a real fan of having to push the shift button in everytime I shift from 1-2-3-2-1 all the time. I do, however, agree with your "aftermarket" comment. But, if I do proceed and the integration doesn't look good, I can easily change it back. I've only had the car for a couple of...
Good morning. I have a 1969 RoadRunner with bucket seats and a center console. The car is equipped with a 727 manual reverse valve body transmission. I am interested in swapping out the factory shifter with either a Hurst Promatic 2 or a B&M QuickSilver, but DO NOT want to modify the center...
