So… in 2025, what’s the best electronic ignition conversion?

One of the easiest would be Pertronix 1. The Avatar photo is of my 65 472 Hemi Belvedere. I used theirs in it and many other cars over 20 years. Good for 7,000 rpm. Easy 2 wire install. Works for me ! I even used them in my race cars. You didn't say what the main use of the car is.

There is a spec for what is known as "Toe out on Turns" Non adjustable if I remember. May have to do with frame alignment. It maybe in the factory service manual. Just a thought. Check to see if your length of inner to outer tie rod ends are equal side to side.Measure from grease fitting to...

    Front End Alignment

Your description sounds like a toe problem. Caster/camber has to be really bad for tires to squeal. Moving the cams for caster/camber affects toe. Toe doesn't affect caster/camber. You Tube is your friend. Many videos on the subject. Tape measure and bubble gauge works just fine. In a pinch a...

Intake recommendations for my 73 Road Runner 340

Rangepony, All depends of the primary use of the car. Daily driver the aluminum Edelbrock Performer is a good one. Basically the same as your stock cast iron. That way the use of the factory Thermoquad can be retained. If you still run one. If I remember the stock cast intake weighs 51 lbs. Heavy...

Can you have too many tools?

After 50 years of doing this you do accumulate quite a inventory. Not long ago I started selling tools that I no longer use at bargain prices. Around $5K I recovered . I still have a long way to go and say to myself "Not Today. Got back to the I may need this later." I do look for younger guys...
