Do you need a special timing set when switching to a roller cam in a big block?

There are hole bunch of roller cam cores available with different alloys such as 1050, 5160 and 8620. There is billet, cast and s.a.d.i. cast cores. Usually the price is a way to tell! Some billets have a gear compatible with steel gears. The 8620 used in most solid rollers has a bit of a...

Cordoba sells for almost 40K at Mecum

I can see prices for these late B's bringing good money if its been well cared all these years. If you wanted one..its not going to be a easy task to find a nice one. Also, the dollar doesn't buy what it once did! There is really not much for replacement parts that I have seen, and to restore...

Who has the older aluminum 3 speed OD transmission and how much power are you putting to it?

With 3.23s at the dragstrip a 3 speed was nearly a second quicker then the same car with a 833 4 speed. It was in a 70 challenger with a grocery getter 360. 4 speed was 15.4, 3 speed was a 14.6. The three speeds 3.09 low got the car out of the hole better. Even though the 3 speed was quicker at...

    Estimated 1/4 mile - 71 Roadrunner 340 4 speed

Our 69 charger with 4 core copper radiator iron headed 510 rb, M1 intake, 3" exhaust to the rear bumper and...

Big block power steering brackets or???

Maybe this one fits a small trw? I would have to look at my pump tomorrow to know for sure.

Big block power steering brackets or???

Our 72 cars have the saginaw. It is a improvement in terms of feel and a more common pump. But, if your after a original look..the saginaw looks different.

Big block power steering brackets or???

That link is for a larger TRW. Easy way to tell is the hex hole in the shaft. The big TRW front bracket will bolt on your smaller pump but the back mount has to be modified to work. Which is what I did on one car. But the saginaw is different. Trw I have seen called Thompson.

Big block power steering brackets or???

I believe those fit a Saginaw? All the pump brackets from 440 source i have seen are saginaw only. Not going to fit a trw. I'd rather have a Saginaw, they have better steering feel when I have used them. The big and small trw pumps have different brackets. Guessing these are for the larger pump...
