    "Please S T O P saying this" thread.

Old news here. Nowadays, it's "thank you", "of course". "Of course"?? What the hell does that mean?

    "Please S T O P saying this" thread.

I frankly don't care much what choice of words anyone says or stops saying until maybe they become hateful. But I am surprised how many are apparently a bit thinned skinned about another's choice of words. I hope they find harmony one day.

I'm getting close to switching to a roller cam in the big block!

Greg, I'm sure you know this but you will most certainly need new pushrods as well - the roller lifters are much taller than the old ones. When you mock everything up, make sure your valvetrain geometry is where it needs to be, then measure and order your pushrods.

I'm getting close to switching to a roller cam in the big block!

This is over simplifying, but roller cam failures happen when a lifters roller bearing gives up. When the rollers bounce it is hard on the needle bearing or bushing. If you run a solid roller lifter on a hr cam which has no lash ramp about the only lash the lifter will see is when the engine...

    The 1969 Z/28

Must disagree. That 302 would go 7k all day. Had a friend - RIP John - that worked at a dealer in Wichita and got one of the few 67s new. Couldn't make it go. Got frustrated and called Chevrolet; talked to Vince Piggins himself. When queried about preparation and driving style, Mr Piggins told...

Gigi rides again - with some issues

Updates. The intake manifold gasket was leaking, sucking oil into the intakes. It was my mistake, manifold and heads fit very well, so I thought the valley pan could be installed dry. It been reinstalled with sealant. Now the idle speed screw is about correct. Another thing I learned is...

    Rear seat foam?

Do you have an Amazon item description for the cotton batting? They have SEVERAL! Also, the 1.5” Joanns foam, is it just 1 layer on the seat bottom, and 1 layer on the seat back on top of the batting? Is there a specific type of 1.5” foam that’s good? Thanks

The TS17 is what I have, it has the correct connector but reads high in the '66 charger. I have ordered a TS18, wrong connector but I think it will have the correct range
