You don't say what year your car is? If it was built Oct 68 it's a 69 yes or no? If it's a 69 I'd look for a 68 block cast in June or July and assembled in Sept.

I usually stick a thick piece of foam between the latch rod and the inner door panel to stifle any rattle. Not a bad idea to do something similar for the door lock rod the knob screws on to. Also take a look down in the bottom of the door as over the decades stuff seems to gather in them -...

Thanks for the response. Dr. Diff wants to sell me new slider calipers and hoses. I'm under the impression I can use the factory 74 Dart disc brake slider calipers but with 73 B body hoses.
