The white reflects. That’s why they didn’t do white hood paint or decals. Or white dashes.
I have seen a 68 barracuda with white UDF. It was a convertible with white top and boot and maroon interior and white soft trim . My white/maroon std interior barracuda coupe has maroon UDF. It may be...
I think pulling heads would help sale more then hurt.
And I’d take off and sell the intake separate anyways. The number guy valuing this block is not interested in the intake. Really same goes for heads. 516 heads are of no interest to short block buyer. Wonder if bigger valves were put in...
The value is in the bare block, vibration dampener, and factory deep oil pan (is that still on it?), dual point distributor if good numbers there.
The rest are incidentals that do add up, but nothing really special.
The question to buyer is: it was pulled out for a reason. I’m gambling to find...
Nope. Just checking. There was very little fuel pump arm wear. Car only has 8K miles since 1981…. Bad just from stitting. Was put in 7/6/2008. Maybe replaced original here (C-6 = March 1966):
Drove it 15 or so miles to local cruise-in. Seems to be ok. These ‘66 carbs are sorta PITA.
White interior?

At $87K for a car restored in 1987, with 1987 detailing, seems fair-ish for both parties.
Yes. Spring Fling is the best place to find used Mopar parts west of the Mississippi. We get buyers from all over the world.
Best thing for @BBBSPORTFURY is, this is 20 minutes from Santa Clarita on Saturday morning.
For you: Just 405 fwy south, exit Burbank Blvd for sellers and show cars...
What was a running driving 318 69 Charger worth in 2018 versus current?
Here's a 68 hemi auto restored for $275K. All numbers match, no build sheet mentioned. 1968 Dodge Charger RT Stuff like that is what people benchmark asking price. Now how motivated the silver Chargers seller is another...
Putting the original distributor back in. Numbers and dates match up. I have log date when it was swapped out.
Cleaned and lubed everything. Cleaned up oxidation.
In 1971 Petty's two car team was his 71 Plymouth and Buddy Baker in a #11 white and red Dodge Charger. He had two cars teams for years before but first with Plymouth and a Dodge I believe. Of course they tested both cars together.
The Charger had better aero.
Finished up changing intake gasket
Gasket blew out on back china rail.
Done
Original ?
Green with Black stripe
C-6 I believe is March 1966. Same date as carbs.
To me it looks like they were a mocked up project the never got completed and welded in.
Finish the job or pop them off. Simple as that.
From ad:
Sounds like started job and didn’t like how it looked… basically ran out of talent or time to do it right. Or both!
