1987 Chevy Cavalier. The only car I bought new. Put almost 300k miles on it and never changed the clutch. Around 2005, the clutch was going south at the same time that my knees went south too. Since I spent more time in the hospital at the time, it was either sold or sent to the wrecker.

As mentioned in the link. When I changed to PB 30+ years ago, I didn't know the pedal should be lower to the floorboard until I my knees went south. Both of my knees are fixed straight. The only way for me to drive it safely was to lower the pedal. Come to find out when I did the swap 30+ years...

The pedals are the same between manual brakes and power brakes, but the linkage is different. The linkage for power brakes puts the pedal a few inches closer to the floorboard then the manual. Ask me how I know...

I got into the RC car stuff back in the day. Started with the Tamiya Grasshopper upgraded the motor and ball bearings. That thing was fast. Then bought the Kyosho Icarus and then the Associated RC10 for off road and RC12 for track. Had a hard time driving that RC12, so I would run asphalt tires...

I never did any real dark room stuff, just the "digital dark room". I got interested when DSLR became affordable.

I collect dust. :p I also dabble in photography, no people, just landscape/nature stuff, although I haven't done anything recent.

We ditched cable a few years ago. Our TV isn't a smart TV so we bought the Roku thingy for $25. Not a big fan of sports so we subscribe to Philo (~ $25/month) so we can watch the History Channel, Discovery Channel, MeTv etc.

I'm a PC user (no cell phone either) and I don't get pop-ups/adds. I use 'F.B. Purity' for Facebook; 'FadBlock' for YouTube, and AdBlock for everything else.

I use OpenShot (free) when I need to edit our church's Sunday videos. I use Inkscape (over-kill, but free) to create cover art.

I did for my 1969 Firebird 400 (w/455). Been running it for 30+ years with no issues. I just measured and I used 1/4 steel.
