The 1st car i owned was a 1979 Dodge Aspen, slant six 4-speed (damn i still miss that car). I remember in high school how that car would ALWAYS start, even when it was -20 degrees outside, and everyone else's Phords and Chebbies wouldn't turn over. I once even ran the car about 12-15 miles...
You could always do a Super Six or Hyper-Pak with it (my first car was a '79 Aspen with Super Six, it gave it enough extra power to make a nice cruiser)

Hyper-Pak would probably require a different hood for clearance though, and parts are hard to come by (and pricey too)
I know a lot of people consider '71 to be the last year of the "muscle car", but i respectfully disagree. I am a little younger than many on this board, and my teen years were in the 80's. For most of my generation, you couldn't get your hands on anything made before 1975 (unless it was a...

rear wheels are 15 X 10 's
WOW... beautiful car, wish i would have seen it before buying my RR. Advertise it for 15k, let them talk you down to 12.5k, i wouldn't accept a dime less than that though, even in this economy. If you don't need the money, maybe consider renting storage space until these cars are fetching...
This is why i go to a local transmission shop, the lead mechanic there grew up 3 houses down from mine. I've known him for 30+ years and feel safe leaving a vehicle there. I've had to take a few cars there over the years, always been a fair price and never had any problems.

Hi there, just purchased a 1973 Roadrunner 3 weeks ago, needs some work. The previous owner did a rather amateur restoration on it. There's a few parts missing and some paint issues in a few spots, but overall in good condition. Has original 340 4-speed (engine was rebuilt) and the interior...
