I have a 1971 Satellite Sebring. Does anyone have experience with either of these wiring harness from M&H through Year One? I've got it narrowed down to these two harnesses...BUT...I don't have fender mounted turn signals or hood mounted turn signals. It's just a simple ole Satellite. I'm...
Good tip. Thanks! I plan to temporarily connect the dash and engine harness before installing it in the car to make sure everything looks right and ohm's out correctly before putting it in permanently.
71 Sebring. Had the car since 16, family has had it since 72. My Dad had converted it to electronic ignition when I started driving it and we dropped in a 360 as well. A/C has been removed (possibly a future project to add it back). Factory alternator, Accel coil, nothing fancy. No stereo...
Does someone (or you) sell these brackets? I'm pretty much sold on just going full upper and lower QA1's but would like to use the factory sway bar (using stock K frame, 71 Sebring). Do you have to weld them onto the QA1 lower or is it just a simple bolt on?
1971 Satellite Sebring. Stock suspension, drum brakes (for now). Anyway, I recently picked up a 17x9 set of the Year One Rallye wheels. They fit but the lip of the wheel is fairly close (finger) to the upper control arm. Does anyone have any specific experience with being close with that...
Vance.Dykes...I checked out the FSM (chassis), section 17. I'm not seeing anything regarding measurements. Tons of other good info though.
Wahya..thanks for the pic. This is where I feel like my car needs to be. Mine car does seem a bit sagged in the rear compared to yours.
Thanks to you...
This may be an unanswerable question due to many variables but would anyone have a ballpark measurement from the center of the rear wheel to the wheelwell lip on a 71 RR (from the factory)?
I have a 71 Satellite with an 8 3/4" rear end but the leaf springs are the stock original Satellite (90...
Currently running 14" Rallye wheels. Going to move to the 17" Year One Rallyes or 15" Weld Draglites. I appreciate the warning on wheels sizing. Yes, that would be a nasty surprise.
So you're not running the Wilwood master yet. OK. I assume you're running a stock type disc master cylinder then? The part number for the master and proportioning valve would be cool. I'll be a happy camper when I get it upgraded.
Good morning! I retired from the Air Force a few years ago and I'm finally getting a chance (now that I have a garage and the time) to revive/upgrade my first car.
It's a 1971 Satellite Sebring. The rear end has already been upgraded to an 8 3/4" with 11" drums. It still has the factory...
I’m interested in the 17x9 Year One Rallye setup (front and back) on my 71 Sebring. I’ve seen a few folks running 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. Just curious if that’s just preference or is there a clearance issue on the front with 17x9s. Seems like I’ve got plenty of fender well for them. Thanks for...
Thanks for the input. Yea, I think that should do it. My Dad (I'm away from home currently) went outside and did the old clay trick on the current air cleaner. Looks like it'll fly....close though..
Good evening. Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar setup (or close to) and had an opinion one way or the other.
I got all the parts ordered but my Dad had the fun of assembling the short block (I'm in the Air Force...wasn't home for the build...and of course he didn't wait...ha,ha)...

Just got done building a 360 short block that'll be going in a 71 Sebring. Next step is Indy LA-X and AirGap intake.
The above link shows that a 340 with an Edelbrock AirGap and stocker type air cleaner will clear...
