"B" Bodies With 17" Wheels.........Post Your Photos

I am sure that (as I am) there are quite a few "B" Body owners that are thinking about putting 17" wheels and tires on their cars. Thought maybe I could get those of you who have already changed over to 17" could post photos of your cars so those of us "on the fence" about it can see how they look. Wheels and tires are not cheap so we want to try and get it right the first time.
There are a few tire/wheel sites out there that have a "wheel visualizer" so one can see how a certain brand/type/size wheel looks on their car/truck but there is nothing like seeing the "real thing".
So again to all 17" wheel owner's, please post photos.

Thanks

I've had 17 inch Fikse rims on my Coronet for about 25 years. I think I bought them back in 1995. I might have been one of the first to have 17 inch rims on a Mopar. Back then, nobody had rims that would fit my car so I had to have these custom made.

Why do people feel the need to chime in on a thread posting pics of cars with 17" wheels to say "not my cup of tea" To each their own but I just don't see the need to communicate an opinion like this in a thread dedicated to what you don't like
agree but also dont understand posting 16's and 18's or 19's in a 17's thread either...... Maybe for ideas?

I just put 17 inch Weld wheels on my Duster. I know that is an A body, but perhaps a B body guy is interested in the Weld wheels also. The Weld wheels are available in multiple widths as well as several different offsets. I was able to find a combination that cleared my Viper brake setup but maintained the proper scrub radius. When I build custom brake kits I always try to keep the scrub radius close to what the OEM used.

That looks Bad *** in my opinion.
We just did a 72 Duster for my younger son (18) and he insisted on the more stock approach (15x7 and 15x8). His nickle, who was I to argue, I'm just the chief wrench.
He thinks I'll ruin my Bird with 17s and 18s. Kind of funny really.

Looking at 17X7 American Racing aluminum magnums for my 66 Charger. I am thinking of 235/55-17 tires all around. Has anybody run this combo? Any clearance issues up front?

They are 17X7 rims with zero offset so approximately 4 inch backspacing. The tires are 235/55-17 which are 27.1 inches high and have a 9.6 inch section width. I am not sure of the actual tread width.

I’m interested in the 17x9 Year One Rallye setup (front and back) on my 71 Sebring. I’ve seen a few folks running 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. Just curious if that’s just preference or is there a clearance issue on the front with 17x9s. Seems like I’ve got plenty of fender well for them. Thanks for any feedback.

FWIW, when I got the Year One aluminum Rallye wheels (8 x 17 front/9 x 17 rear 4.5 and 5" backspacing) I did the same thing for my wife's 65 GTO in the Pontiac Rally 2 wheels, but there wasn't as much width available in the stock fenderwells compared to my stock setup.
I had my Toyo Proxes TQ drag radials long enough to be confident that if we got caught in the rain, it wouldn't become a hazard, unlike the Nitto 555R drag radials that could have killed me in my Conquest TSi...
Here's the GTO, just for the heck of it, 17 x 8 front and 17 x 9 rear:

Coilovers coming for the rear axle housing to lose the "gasser look" on the GTO...

That brand is my favorite for the drag strip. I like this style, and may get some for the Roadrunner:

That is not only a beautiful car but nicely set up. What wheels are those and what backspacing?
