Edelbrock Air Gap intake on 360...will it clear 71 Sebring?

Just got done building a 360 short block that'll be going in a 71 Sebring. Next step is Indy LA-X and AirGap intake.

The above link shows that a 340 with an Edelbrock AirGap and stocker type air cleaner will clear the hood. Anybody out there have any different experience? Seems like it's going to be close. I have a stock 360 and Edelbrock Performer in there now and it's got some clearance but that AirGap looks like a monster compared to the Performer.

From what I read the air gap is about 3/4" taller than the Performer.

Thanks for the input. Yea, I think that should do it. My Dad (I'm away from home currently) went outside and did the old clay trick on the current air cleaner. Looks like it'll fly....close though..
