    SOLD 1969 Road Runner 383 4 spd

I've hesitantly decided to sell my 1969 Road Runner. I thought I would post it here for fellow B Body MOPAR lovers before I try other avenues. I'll try to be as detailed as possible and as honest as I can be within my knowledge of the car. - 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner ( I've checked vin tag...

    Uh oh...trunk stamp dont match.

So good news...hopefully. My last 6 of the VIN are 223367. Now that I found the right part of the trunk, it matches...or at least I think it does. Definitely the 22..maybe a three and the other 3 is unreadable. Could be anything. The 6 is almost unreadable but I can see how it would be a...

    Uh oh...trunk stamp dont match.

Drivers side, 1/2 way up. It is in no way covered by the seal. It looks like the last 6 of a VIN, but not my VIN. I'll double check next time I see the car. (Currently getting the windshield replaced)

    Uh oh...trunk stamp dont match.

Ok confirmed the rear quarters have been replaced. So from what I take it, the number on the trunk stamp would be different if the quarters have been replaced correct? - - - Updated - - - I completely understand and appreciate the sentiment, but I paid Roadrunner money for the car. Just...

    Uh oh...trunk stamp dont match.

Exactly what it says. When I bought the car I was unaware of the trunk stamp being an indicator of authenticity. I of course knew about the fender tag and VIN as well as the radiator stamp, all of which match. Engine as well. Doing some research on this site, I found out about the trunk...

Show me your aftermarket stereo setups!!!

Having a heck of a time deciding on what to do with the 69' Roadrunner as far as stereo goes. Speakers are easy enough but the actual unit itself is proving to be a pain. I like the idea of the retro look, like what RetroSounds offers, but unfortunately there is no direct applications from...

    An interior question-1969 Roadrunner

I bought my 1969 Roadrunner about 5 months ago. Recently I was getting some work done on it and my mechanic brought to my attention a possible discrepancy with the seats. He said the Roadrunner seats were generally a very basic seat. Things like emblems were even skipped to save cost. Also...

Strange resonating noise at certain RPM's??

No headers or aftermarket manifold. Just flowmaster mufflers.

Strange resonating noise at certain RPM's??

Getting a very distinct loud, deep, noise at certain RPM's. It seems to get louder and more pronounced and then kind of levels off as I increase speed in the same gear. It definitely goes away when I shift into the next gear (until it shows up again at another speed) so it cant be a wheel/tire...

A question on the air cleaner lid for a 1969 Roadrunner

Thanks a lot for all the replies. I actually was a bit impulsive and gave the guy a deposit since it met so many of my criteria at a decent price. He has been pretty straight forward with everything so far and sent me lots of great pics. He's also said I can back out if I'm uncomfortable...

A question on the air cleaner lid for a 1969 Roadrunner

    - - - Updated - - - Ok I think I may have finally typed in the right combo of words to find my answer. So if the vents are black and fixed, as pictured above, it is a non air-grabber hood and the air cleaner in the original post is correct. If they are red and turned upright, it should be the...

A question on the air cleaner lid for a 1969 Roadrunner

Hello all. I'm somewhat new to classic MOPAR's and have been keeping my eyes open for a 68-70 Roadrunner. (always liked em) I'm looking a 1969 Roadrunner that is advertised as having the original 383 engine in it. However the air cleaner lid just says "Road Runner Engine" as shown above...

Hello all. First post here. Having wanted a Road Runner for the majority of my adult life, I've finally decided I'm in a position to pursue it. The problem is...I can't seem to get a grasp on the market for these cars. It looks like they are bringing huge amounts of money and even in...
