USMC 1972 to 1977. SSGT. Communications - 29 palms + Camp Pendelton, Ca. Played football for 1st Mar Div. part of years. Then was in 3/5 1st Mar div. from 1972 to 1975. 1976 & 1977,taught communications for 4th Mar Div. Never saw combat but had many Buds that did.

I bought a 77 Monaco 2 years ago with the 360 with a 727 trans. Only 53,000 miles so has been stored a lot . it seems when not used for a while the tranny is very sluggish to engage. After warm up not so bad. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. If maybe just a new filter and fluid change...
I noticed on a earlier post you were asking about he back windows. MY 77 Monaco is a hard top. It as the full trim but windows do not open. They are fixed.
I am needing to take the lower interior door panels off and have them painted. . It his hard plastic and they are faded and discolored. I have not had a lot of experience taking interior parts apart. Other than the few screws along the armrest is there anything else to worry about ?

You are right that very few people know what they are. when you mention the Monaco, people envision the c bodies and 4 doors. Between the Monte and Grand Prix get lots of co0ments.
