I installed retrofit Mopar PCM kit from Swap Specialties to my car (1970 Charger) last weekend, it has been running couple years with aftermarket ECM called Tatech, but it didn´t work like streetcar was supposed to, so...
Kit uses PCM from -09 Challenger 6.1 M/T
Just this minor problem, it...
That´s what i´ve found too, but not info what threads are in box and pump, i´m from Finland and starting to have bit tight shedule to get my project running, i would prefer to get these here locally, international shipping can mess things up...
What this box core is originally, and what car...
I´ve been strugling to find this info, what type of fittings are in Borgeson 800126 steering gear, and in 2007 6.1 Hemi PS pump, Jeep model to be exact.
I´m using Finnish Ecu, called Tatech. I´m familiar with that from my previous projects and i can use quite nicely Jeeps harness, just need for diagram.
I have that Tatech also in my LS3 powered supercharged 2gen Camaro, for that we made harness from scratch.
I´ve been working on my car occasionally, but not much Hemiswap related stuff, just generall stuff so haven´t been updating this, some pics if interested ->

Question: Wiring chematic/diagram for my engine? it´s from 2007 SRT8...
In GM steering column with electric PS which i use, only information that comes outside of unit is speed signal. Assist is originally maximum when car is in place, and decreases when speed raises.
So, i have added small "ECU" that generates speed signal pulse, and signal is adjustable but...
But these are just electrically power assisted. When these fail, steering is just normal manual steering and can be driven normally just fine. Ofcourse there´s possibility that it starrts to assist in wrong direction but...
I found tradiotinal hydraulic power steering much more dangerous, in...
I don´t quite get that (X) to 1 on steering, can it be converted wheel turn from lock-to-lock, find it more understodable. I like that ratio to be generally at 2 to 2.5 turns.
I have Borgeson box installed in my Charger project. Before i bought that box, i´ve already gotten fast ratio idler / pitman arms.
What do you guys think, will it be too fast / unaccurate. Or do i need stock lenght arms...? I like fast steering but, is it too much.
I decided to go with electric power steering for relibiality and SAFETY reasons. My Camaro is competition spec drift car, and its really common in that use that serpentine belts pop off or break. Even in oem solutions, but often with engine swaps when rack and p/s pump are from different...
I have quite similar looking column with electric power steering in my Camaro, with rack&pinion. Works nicely. Total cost with used column around 200-300$, not noisy at all.
I used Opel Corsa C column. Don´t know why, but that´s very popular here in Finland in retrofit use (mostly in...
Yes i did, after asking from machinery shop that balanced my LS3, and been told that 8gram difference is indeed in factory tolerances. I did put it together with those bolts above.
Upper ones are bolts that were in my engine, below bolts ordered from dealer, part 6509243AA which seems have replaced part 6508245AA, anyone know that are my bolts those?
Upper ones not seem like torqued to yield bolts, even that much as lower ones? and there are 2gram weight difference...
Bit of progress, gearbox tunnel quite ready, still smoothing and filler, and paint. But next, gearbox mount.
Btw. does everyone sees 4 pics below, im not quite sure of my flickr settings...
Rearside of tunnel isn´t that pretty when looking inside of car but that will be under...
I did bent drivers side header a bit to make descent clearance to torsion bars. Good news that seems to with fit normal style starter and fast ratio pitman&idler arm. In TTi instructon say that dont fit with them.
Engine mounts pretty much done, cutted Jeep mounts to right height and...
Got my Dougs headers yeasterday, quick test fit, and seems that they will clear stock steering box and torsion bars, but go pretty close to torsion bars, maybe max 1/4" gap. And seem also to clear longer idler / pitman arm, fast ratio ones.
So setting engine to right place, 1.5" to right, but...
