I just removed my instrument cluster to restore and have taped off all of the wiring leads I can find in the dash. Are there any safety reasons that would keep me from driving the car? I don't know much about wiring but thought I would double check before I fire it up and melt all the wiring.

A few odds and ends in the engine bay but I've already put those back to stock. Mostly needs some TLC.
