Yes it’s all finished. It turned into a really big project. It requires a lot more modifications to install one of these transmissions in a 73-74 due to the torsion bar crossmember being in the way. That crossmember needs to be removed and the chassis needs to be modified so the bars mount into...
Brand new, never used, Spicer Trac-Loc, 3 series, 35 spline limited slip carrier for Dana 60 axle. Has brand new carrier bearings and races, ready to install. Will work with ratio's 4.10 and down. Will also work with ratios over 4.10 but need the thick style ring gear
$275 OBO
Will ship on...
These are a set of original Mopar Performance Stage IV cast iron cylinder heads from Direct Connection. My uncle bought them new back in the 70's and never used them. They've been sitting in his garage ever since and have never been bolted on an engine. Need to be cleaned up but they are in...
1970, 440 6 Pack/BBL Intake Manifold. Pretty much speaks for itself. Will be removing it from the engine which is a 1968 HP 440.....
$550, shipping on your dime from 58078 (West Fargo, ND)
Wondering what small block oil pan you guys are running in your 73-74? I currently have an 8 quart Milodon and have all sorts of clearance issues with k-frame and steering center link. Looking to make a change but it would be nice to hear from other small block guys what works best or what they...
I see where you're going with that idea but the hole in the cross member where the bar passes through is aligned. All that needs to be done is weld in the hex bungs in from the torsion bar member
The TKO went in pretty easy after the tunnel was modified..... The jury is still out on the T-56. I ordered it this morning and will start cutting right after Mopars In The Park. Here are a couple pics of my car with the TKO 600 installed..... I'm not a fan of this transmissions performance...
There is a feller on my 73-74 Facebook group who did this conversion. He said he just cut out the hexes from the member, clocked them perfect, welded them into the trans member and used the shorter 62-72 bars. He also said that the 73-74 cars still retained the floor reinforcements found in the...
I finally pulled the trigger on a T-56 Magnum 6 speed from Silver Sport Transmission for My 74 Roadrunner. I'm so tired of destroying TKO 600's (on my 3rd) and really have no other choice considering the power and weight of my car.
Anyone install one of these 6speed "kits" from Silver Sport? I...
I was wondering if anyone has completely ditched the bolt in torsion bar crossmember in a 73-74 and welded the hexes into the transmission mount crossmember in the chassis so you could run the shorter 62-72 torsion bars???
I know this has been done by people and i'm wondering what their...
I’ve had it with my TKO as well. Just destroyed 3rd gear again! I’m in the process of doing a T56 Magnum 6 speed conversion now. This one should hold up to the power and the 7500 rpm shifts!
OK so i'm wrong about that but Indy does make them for the B motor. The part number just starts with 400 instead of 440. So the part number you'd need is 400-I4-MMBOE
Here is a link to the price sheet for the big block ModMan intake. You can buy just the intake base then i'll sell you the top plate, carbs, linkage and air cleaner from my set up.
