Hi Everyone, just letting you know I am still alive. Was out of work for around six months so had the time but not the money to work on the Charger. That has all changed, been working on the car again and will have new photos to post in a couple of weeks. Stay safe and have a Great Christmas...
I will be putting the black back on my charger 500 with the Orange bottom to keep it how it was rolled off the floor. You do have to maintain them but they are not the most expensive item to replace either though.
Hi Glenn, welcome to the forum, I am based in Brisvegas doing a 71 Charger. Stay in touch happy to help out where I can.
Cheers,
Ben
P.S. put some photos up they help alot.
Hey Ozmercury, you are doing a great job so far. It makes it easy when you have the right tools for the job. I am down at Mt Cotton with my 71 Charger. Keep up the good work and would love to come over and see the project first hand.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi everyone, I have some before and after photos of the work I did today and yesterday. I have decided to start at rear of the car and work my way forward. No point getting the motor going if the body and chassis are right.

I hope to recoup some of the shipping costs I didn't intend to pay for but not rob anyone blind at the...
Hi everyone, well parts started arriving today from the states and I couldn't work out why my shipping costs were so high until I unpacked the boxes. I received a full trunk floor pan a L/R full rocker panels for a 69/70 Charger and a couple of parts for a Coronet not of which I ordered or paid...
Where did you buy that from and how much, I may need to look at doing the same with Dodge being up in here Brisbane she gets pretty warm as you already know.
Cheers,
Ben
Welcome Big Red, from Brisvegas but born and bred it Victoria myself. Let me know if you have any good reliable Mopar businesses down your way. Always trying to save a dollar where possible.
cheers,
Ben
The car was imported to Australia back in 2007, I bought it off the second owner who became ill and no longer had time to fix it. He couldn't sell it on ebay so I made him an offer over the phone and purchased it sight unseen due to it be the equivalent of 600miles away. I shipped it up and I...
Hi all here are some more pics of the new project. Back to work tomorrow for two weeks so hopefully parts I ordered start to arrive so I can get moving.
Hi everyone, I have just joined this and a few other forums for help and advice. I just dropped a bucket of money on a 71 Charger and it needs quite a few rust repairs. Getting hold of new fenders seems to be my biggest challenge so far.
If there are other Aussies out there who have the same...
Do you still have the fenders, I am from Australia and can pay to have them shipped to freight forwarding comapny. Pretty desperate atm
cheers,
Ben
