Great news. I will driving to where my hood is tomorrow and will figure out what I need and let you know. We want to make sure Mark gets what he needs first since he started the thread.
Was doing some research on E85 for a friend and found your build thread. This is one serious car and I agree with those who complimented your skills (and your garage!). Congrats on finally getting to "fire her up". Sounds and looks awesome. As someone who always tells people I have a "go"...
I'll be watching for a response from a member, I just bought a 70 RR and separate air grabber hood, haven't figured out what I need yet when I switch hoods. Welcome to Forum though and good luck with car.
Nice to c a young gun getting into the classics. Car has great lines. A long, hard road ahead but it will be worth the sweat and struggle. When finished, you will have a lifetime to enjoy something special.
Next time I rebuild (hopefully not soon) maybe I will put big boy britches on and go bigger cam, was away from this stuff for a long time, had a mid-life crisis about 6 years ago and found a shiny black fast loud Mopar so I couldn't resist. Didn't even know these forums existed. Between this &...

Novice here, but I think the black top would be best, but I always like black interiors and tops........one thing to think about is white vinyl may be harder to keep looking as nice, and if it is ever becomes off-white with age, or if it gets stained somehow, you have to contend with that...
Yea, "Back in the Day" I could probably just walk into a local speed shop, walk up to the counter, and walk out with a solution (for a lot less money). I went on the Hurst site, that was no help, and got brave and called, but that was useless. I didn't realize on this site you could enter key...
Thanks for the offer, yes it is a console 4 speed, bucket seats. I broke some vertebrae in my back while on vacation in July (this old man was jumping waves in his boat, acting like a young man!!!), so I have a couple guys putting the rebuilt engine and QA1 front suspension in for me. The car is...
It's not the size of the wallet that counts, but how many smiles you get per dollar you spend, nice job from what the photos show.............now drive and enjoy, that's what these cars are made for (unless you build as a true racer).
