The lower dash pad on my 69 Roadrunner has cracks in it, and the switch plate looks terrible.
I can find replacement switches and buttons, but no switch plate or lower dash pad
It appears that no one makes reproductions.
Is there anyone that restores them?
I bought a completely restored 69 Roadrunner a few years ago. Everything has been working fine. This year, when I got it out of storage, the brakes are not right. The brakes are as hard as a rock, and seem like they dont want to stop the car. Fluid level is good in the master cylinder.
The car...
Looking for a 68-70 Charger or 70 Coronet driver in Pa.
AT okay, but prefer 4-speed. Prefer numbers matching but not a deal breaker. Some body rust ok as long as bones are solid. Not looking for restored, show car, trailer queen. Just want something I can drive and work on. Getting too old to...
Yes, I did get it fixed. I didnt use any glue. I just took a super thin piece of wire, wrapped it around the gear twice, then tightened it by twisting. Works great now.
69 Road Runner. I was in Autozone today and noticed they have LED 1157 bulbs by Sylvania. One pacage is regular, the other package says "Super Bright". Both say "For offroad use only". They both also say "Load balancer may be required". They also have 1157A, whatever that is.
Any body use...
I've been looking at a project car that needs rear frame rails and a torsion bar mount, and I was wondering if anyone has used frame caps and what your opinion is of them. The good, the bad, the ugly, so to speak.
I picked up a cheap thumbwheel radio 8-track unit and am working on it. The 8-track belt has fallen apart and I would like to find a replacement, so I was wondering who manufactured the radios for Chrysler. Maybe I can find a replacement, or get the dimensions so I can adapt a sweeper belt or...
Amazing how these cars move around. There was a red 70 Charger for sale locally about 2 months ago. It was in decent shape and the guy wanted $6k for it. Of course I called about it, but someone had already gotten there first. A month later, I saw it on ebay, and it sold for $15k. Several weeks...
A friend just picked up a 70 Charger project. One of the options decodes as "Special Options Package", at least that is what he said.
Does anyone know what that would include?
You are missing the point. The inclination is to believe that the seller is at fault and that his account was terminated because he is a crook or a scumbag. But maybe it was a mutual decision, or maybe he was just tired of the BS and told them to cancel his account. Maybe he told the admins he...
Okay, I took it apart, and the gear is still attached to the thumbwheel, but there is one crack in the gear, which is good because it still has a lot of integrety, but bad because the crack is very tiny and trying to glue it is going to be tough.
I do have some questions, though.
1. The gear...
